I like many pilots did most my training in Cessna aircraft and have only limited low wing experience (Diamond and Piper aircraft). The biggest difference I find in the low wing aircraft is how much brighter it is in the cockpit without the huge sun shade the Cessna wings make. But, I do love looking down and miss some of the great view I get in the low-wing planes. I also like being able to open the windows on the Cessna.

But, I might have to give the low wing planes another try.

I agree, and have posted similarly just now as well. Perhaps it is just the airplanes that I have flown, but the Archer felt much better than the 172s that I have experience with. It probably helps that all of the Archers are 180 hp (many of the 172s are 160), and those gas shocks on the main gear make your landings seem a lot better sometimes. :-)

I've been through the wringer so many times with "work at home" stuff, I was extremely happy to find out this was a legit deal. I don't have to sell anything, I don't have to generate business, I just log in, answer the questions and get paid. Again, it's not a huge amount of money, but it pays for some flying time.

Maybe someone would want to just do a few hours a week and help reduce the cost of 100LL. Take that increase in cost out of the equation.

This is an interesting idea... I had noticed these people's site recently but did not know that they were hiring independent contractors so freely to answer the questions. Thanks for the tip!

I'd hate to have to go to an entirely different country and try to figure all this stuff out. Imagine how difficult it is for a pilot who's native language is not english. You can hear them all the time at liveATC.net and they do a pretty good job.
